Field cards are special cards that allow you to change the element of the board and boost all cards of the same element.
Refer to the official rules guide of the game to learn more.
Any cards included in these rarity levels are mostly cards that you can acquire through conventional means. Excluding the secondary market.
Only Ultra Rare and Mythic cards are more difficult to acquire. Read “Where can I get cards?” article to learn more.
Some rarities have specific conditions for obtaining them.
This is the case for Special Rare, Exclusive, and Unique cards.
Any card received from our airdrops (read “cards acquisition” section) or our real-life products such as our books have the Special Rare rarity.
They cannot be obtained in any other way, excluding the secondary market.
The Special Rare cards obtained through airdrops will be different from the ones you receive through our books. In other words, weekly airdrop cards can only be acquired through airdrops and are not available anywhere else, for example in any chest from the shop.
The Arkhante Collection has 26 Special Rare cards: 13 Standards and 13 Alternatives.
Their characteristics range from Rare to Ultra Rare. Meaning that a Special Rare card can have the same power as a Rare or an Ultra Rare card.
Special Rare cards also have their own rules for crafting (read “Merge System” section).
Exclusive cards are reserved for investors of Cross The Ages.
Exclusive cards only differ in artwork and have the same characteristics as Standard cards.
Who knows? You may have the chance to buy one from the secondary market!
Unique cards as the name suggests, exist only in one model and you will have to discover how to obtain them.
Unique cards only have different illustrations and have the same characteristics as Standard cards.
For example “Shado” comes in a Unique and Exclusive version, but all these cards share the same power for competitive integrity.
In Cross The Ages: TCG, cards are also categorized according to 3 different types.
A Standard card is the basic version of a card.
In Cross the Ages:TCG, you can upgrade your standard cards to transform them into more powerful versions or Alternative cards.
Alternative cards are the upgraded version of the Standard cards.
They are more powerful and display a different illustration from their Standard version.
To acquire them, you will most often need to merge a certain amount of Standard cards (read “merge system” article).
Alternative Combo cards are the result of merging two Alternative cards. They are even more powerful and display an exclusive illustration.
To acquire them, you will need to merge two Alternative cards. (read “Merge System” article)
