Where can I get cards?
Game Account & Game Wallet
All the cards you canl acquire are divided into two categories.
You can find some in your Game Account and some in your Game Wallet.
Game Account
Your Game Account is where you collect cards to play the game.
These cards are not NFTs.
If you want to access Web3 applications such as secondary markets in order to sell or lend cards, you will need to mint these cards into NFTs first.
Once you mint them into NFTs, they will automatically transfer to your Game Wallet.
Game Wallet
Your Game Wallet is your key to accessing Web3 features, such as marketplaces.
This is where you collect chests, packs and cards after minting them into NFTs.
Obviously, you can play the game with these cards as well.
This is also where you will find your different presale premium packs and/or airdrops that you receive.
There are multiple ways to acquire cards in Cross The Ages: TCG.
Let’s go through all the possibilities one by one.
Community Packs
Community packs, commonly called Standard Packs, are free packs which are airdropped to active community members or during events such as video releases, livestreams and more. These packs are also available on the secondary markets for purchase.
Community packs include the following benefits:

- 20 NFT Cards — No mythic cards guaranteed

All cards inside the community packs are already minted into NFTs, thus saving you time and minting fees that you would otherwise use to turn them into NFTs.
Premium Packs
The premium packs are exclusive packs that were put on sale during the pre-sale session (now closed) of Cross The Ages: TCG.
These NFT packs are limited edition and will never be reissued.
They are now mostly accessible via secondary markets, or offered in very limited quantities during events on our networks.
There are 3 different premium packs available.
Apprentice Pack (Red) includes the following benefits:
- Early Access Ticket
- 20 NFT Cards
- 18 cards: 10 common, 3 uncommon, 3 rare, 1 ultra rare, 1 mythic
- +2 foil cards guaranteed (including at least one rare guaranteed)
- 50 $CTA Token Airdrops

Disciple Pack (Green) includes the following benefits:
- 25 NFT cards

Primus Pack (Blue) includes the following benefits:
- 30 NFT cards
- 27 cards: 3 common, 3 uncommon, 9 rare, 6 ultra rare, 6 mythic

All cards inside the premium packs are already minted into NFTs, thus saving you time and minting fees that you would otherwise use to turn them into NFTs.
Inside these chests, you can get cards up to the Rare rarity (common, uncommon, and rare), but no ultra rare or mythic cards.
Inside the chests there are up to 4 cards: some battle cards, but also field cards.
The cards you will find in these chests are not NFTs. Meaning that if you want to bring them to your game wallet to trade them, you will have to mint them first.
Buy Chests in the Shop
You can buy different classic chests in the shop of the game, using the in-game currency called Prana (read “Game Economy” article).
There are 7 different chests available in the shop.
Each one of them contain a different amount of packs. The amount of packs inside those chests are as follow: 1, 2, 4, 6, 12 or 48 packs (maximum).
Each packs contains 10 cards. You will find below a complete graphic listing your chances of looting cards depending on the chest you bought:
The price per pack is 3$, and the price per chest depends on the number of packs inside.
You can also decide to mint your chest in order to resell it later. This will allow some players to acquire packs of old collections. To mint a chest, you will have to mint all the cards inside and so minting fees will be applied on each card.
The cards you will find in these packs are not NFTs. Meaning that if you want to transfer them to your game wallet to trade them, you will have to mint them first.
Randomly Improved Packs
- All the cards in your pack will be foil.
- All the cards in your pack will be rare+ cards.
- All the cards in your pack will be alternative cards directly.
Special Packs
These packs are only available during special events around Cross The Ages’ Universe.
For example, you can acquire them from event quests, books, or gifts.
Special Packs can contain any kind of cards available in the game! (Excluding special rare and exclusive cards)
The cards you will find in these packs are not NFTs. If you want to trade them on on-chain platforms you will have to mint them into NFTs first.
Secondary markets
All the NFT cards of Cross The Ages: TCG will be stored on the Immutable X platform. You will be able to buy, sell, borrow and lend your assets freely on all associated marketplaces to Immutable X.
