In 2023, our assessment on the Gender Equality Index revealed a number of important points requiring our close attention. Although we were unable to calculate an overall rating, our score of 29 out of 65 points highlights the challenges we face and guides us towards concrete actions for improvement. We note a 16% pay gap disadvantaging women compared to their male counterparts within our company. This difference can be explained, in part, by the unequal distribution of genders in our various fields of activity. IT development positions, which are generally better paid, are predominantly held by men, while roles in the arts and marketing sectors, where our female employees are more numerous, tend to offer lower salaries.
Furthermore, it is important to point out that no woman is currently among the ten highest earners in our company. We also acknowledge the absence of measures to systematically promote salary increases for female employees returning from maternity leave.
In light of these observations, Cross the Ages is committed to taking significant steps to reduce these gaps and promote greater professional equality within our team. We are committed to increasing female representation on our development teams, and to evaluating our compensation structures to ensure gender pay equity.
We are committed to creating an inclusive working environment where every talent, regardless of gender, can flourish and contribute fully to our collective success. Gender equality is not just a regulatory objective, but a fundamental commitment to our corporate values.
We will keep you informed of our progress in this crucial area, and are committed to transparent reporting on our actions and their impact.
Together, we can build a more equitable future at Cross the Ages.
